Yashica Auto Yashinon-DS 50mm f/1.9 M42 Lens Review
Quite uncommon very sharp, very well built precise Japanese lens. It hasn’t auto-manual switch so to use on DSLR bodies need to prepare the lens or use newest M42 adapter with auto push ring.Very good performer one of the best 50mm M42 lens. I didn’t find many information about this lens,so this is the reason why I think pretty rare. Perhaps more popular in Japan. I have pleasant experience all around, so I can’t say more, grab it if you have a chance.

I got a perfect example of this lens on greedbay for $9.99. It is a very sharp very cold lens. When I want pics for B&W work I reach for this lens. I find it is no good though until stoped down to 2.8. PIC ONE UP. It is a pleasure to use it is my most comfortable lens to use on my K10d.
I have a mint still boxed lens and 2×1 tele converta I have never used and I’am looking for a camera (Yashica) if posible what cameras are around to suit it now.
I love this lens bought it on Ebay one day just because it was selling for $5.99 knew nothing about it. This lens has special unpredictable bokeh, it gives very true color and is viciously sharp.
